Mindfulness with Clay Sessions
Take some time out and join us for a session of purposeful calm.
These MINDFUL MAKING sessions are curated specifically to provide an opportunity for those seeking time away from the stresses of daily life. Our studio is comfortable, with a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere.
You will be encouraged to quiet the mind. To be present in the moment, to enable you to access your creative potential. ( max 6 people)
You will be guided to work on a project in easy steps and be encouraged to approach the process intuitively. Suitable for complete pottery beginners or experienced hand builders alike.
It is widely proven that creativity promotes speedy recovery after illness & helps to alleviate anxiety, depression & stress.
There are parking spaces available outside the studio. Please use the allocated parking. There are no entry/private signs on the drive. No access is permitted beyond this point.
There is one outside toilet currently available for studio use. Due to the unusual nature and age of the farm buildings, we are unfortunately not able ot provide disabled toilet facilities. People with limited mobility may find difficulty in accessing the toilet and studio due to access via steps.
There are no convenience shops within quick/easy walking distance of the Farm. (Budgens local shop and post office – 1.2 miles, approx 3mins by car).
There is a small farm shop next door. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/lunch/drinks etc, however in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, food and drinks must not be consumed in the studio. There is an outside area for you to eat and drink.
Workshop Duration – 3 Hours – 1-4pm
What you need to bring along – Enthusiasm and a smile.
Suitable for – Beginners and upwards (min age 16)
