The Pottery was born out of my need to create and wish to share the wonder of clay by teaching others. My philosophy is to facilitate creating art without judgment, by using Creativity as a means of self expression and enjoying the benefits that creativity brings to our emotional and physical wellbeing.
Prior to marrying and moving to Endfield Farm nearly 15yrs ago, where we live with our 3 dogs, 1 horse, a few cows and small flock of sheep, I worked with Children and Young People in the care of the Local Authorities. Alongside this I was also a Beauty, Massage, Holistic Therapies and Reiki Practitioner, eventually having my own business. I have had a lifelong love of art and a need to express my creativity, which led me to study Ceramics at Mid Cheshire College.
Endfield Farm Pottery is located on a 50 acre working farm, near to the picturesque village of Lymm and the Historic Market town of Altrincham in Cheshire, with easy access from the M6 and M56 motorway networks. The Pottery is situated in a converted outbuilding. Formerly known as the “mixing parlour” which was used for storing and mixing animal feed.
There are parking spaces available outside the studio. Please use the allocated parking . There are no entry/ private signs on the drive. No access is permitted beyond this point.
There is one outside toilet currently available for studio use. Due to the unusual nature and age of the farm buildings , we are unfortunately not able to provide disabled toilet facilities. People with limited mobility may find difficulty in accessing the toilet and studio due to access via steps.
There are no convenience shops within quick/ easy walking distance of the Farm. ( Budgens local shop and post office) – 1.2 miles – approx 3 mins by car )
There is a small farm shop next door. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/ lunch/ drinks etc.
