Welcome to Phoenix Pottery a relaxed space created by Ceramic Artists Lou & Nic.
Their passion for creativity and exploring the use of clay is the foundation of Phoenix Pottery. Fulfilling both of their dreams to build an environment that is welcoming to all abilities of potters and a space to explore other creative skills, they have relocated from Endfield Farm Pottery after working there together for the past year.
They believe everyone has creativity within themselves however this is expressed and the power of getting our hands dirty in the wonderful material that clay is can have a soothing and restorative effect on our physical and mental health.
With a wealth of ceramic knowledge between both of them, Lou & Nic aim to to offer a full range of hand building pottery classes, from complete beginners to supported sessions. Along with decoration techniques, glazing effects and firing processes. If you’d love an afternoon experience of creating a new treasure or you want to dive into a 6 week program of learning and developing skills Phoenix Pottery will have a creative project for everyone.
A peaceful Artist owned studio space with a focus on creativity for wellbeing
The studios in our new premises have been purposefully designed to accommodate our regular Pottery classes and a mixed variety of Art and Craft courses and Workshops.
With easy access from the M6, M56, M62 Motorways we are approx 20 miles from Manchester Centre and Liverpool.
We offer pottery classes and pottery courses for beginners and for those wishing to expand their handbuilding skills. Our calendar of ceramic art and special interest workshops are hosted by our resident and guest artists including our ever popular sessions of Mindfulness with Clay, pottery for Health and Wellbeing.
We also provide a fully equipped working studio space for supported sessions, enabling those with previous handbuilding experience to work independently on their own projects.
The studio can be hired for your own ceramics, art or craft workshops. We can also arrange private individual or group bookings. Have a chat with us about your ideas.
